This place is simply amazing! There’s nothing quite like this gallery in Melbourne - Met Art World is the largest collection of metal art, that offers a fully immersive family experience, where kids are allowed - and encouraged - to touch everything!
These pieces will blow your mind with the detail and intricacy of their creations - made from scrap and recycled materials! Statues range from Dinosaurs, Superheroes, Cars (Mamma’s crew could not get enough of the incredible Bugatti) to movie characters like Gollum, Ninja Turtles, Thanos, Hulk and SO MANY more!
Then you have the immersive experiences upstairs that are simply breathtaking. You enter through a 3D mirror maze that will challenge your mind - luckily you have a pool noodle to help you navigate a safe path; then there’s the lantern lit Enchanted Garden, the Intergalactic Journey filled with 3D planets, The Starry Night room with diamond shaped twinkling lights, The Abyss maze with a see-through glass bottom floor, the STUNNING jellyfish maze with illuminated jellyfish-looking lights all around you; and lastly the 360 interactive tunnel with changing landscapes.
There are also different themed workshops every few hours where you can create some art to take home.
